Help acoustic warning

Does anyone know how to get rid of this new acoustic warning app that came with JB without being rooted? When I go to the app "disable" is blacked out and won't let me click on it?
 
Is it doing anything that you want to stop, or are you just wanting to disable it just because you want to? I see it too, and have no clue what it is, but I don't see that it does anything, so I just leave it alone.
 
I listen to a lot of music threw a blue tooth speaker at work,and I keep the phone volume up all the way n just adjust the volume threw the blue tooth speaker. What this app does is after a certain amount of time,it pops up n says something about being too loud for too long and turns the media volume down n won't let me turn it back up! It has become VERY annoying
 
OOOOOOHHHHH! Well, that sucks. Who are they to tell us what volumes we should be listening to things at?!?! If we want to go deaf, that's our business! With that said, I don't think there is a non-root option to disabling it. Sorry.

I know! I can't believe moto put this app on the phone with no way of disabling it! I mean,I understand the app means well,but they don't take into consideration how pple listen to music (playing threw Bluetooth speakers/headphone jack threw sterio,etc) and when u do these things its best to keep phone volume all the way up and adjust ur volume threw the speakers! Well,if anyone has anymore in site on this app,I'll certainly listen to it (since moto has saved my hearing now) !
 
Root your phone then use titanium backup to disable (freeze) the app. That's about the only way I can figure how to disable this app.
 
Is there a possibility that it's there to save the speaker on the phone? I know I don't like moto doing things that I don't want them to do, but if they're getting to many warranty returns for blown speakers, then I can see them implementing this app (still not right for them to do it)...

That is the only reason I can think y they added that (which does make sense),but they DID NOT take into consideration the pple that use Bluetooth speakers and or headphone jack into a speaker system! It rly screws it all up! Now I am faced with just dealing with it or rooting my phone to freeze the app! Ugh
 
Root it, that way you can remove or freeze the other apps you don't want too. It'll save you memory and battery life. I must have removed 20 or 25 apk's with systemapp remover
 
I want to freeze this volume warning system but I can't root my phone. razrblade doesn't want to work for me.

I listen to music while mowing my lawn on my riding tractor. The sound from the tractor is so much that I have to turn it up or I can't hear the music. So it's either spend $100 on over the ear headphones.. or root my phone and freeze this app. I like the free option better.

I know! I am in the same boat,and am on the fence about rooting my phone now just because of this crappy app moto snuck into this update! I've NVR rooted a phone before n just NVR rly felt a need to until now!

I had a few issues with rzr blade but figured it out. How far do you get?

Now only is that annoying, but the loud chime that is heard at the end of the google voice search delivery is annoying and I would like that to go away as well.
