Acquiring GPS Signal

I have noticed over the last couple of days I am having a very difficult time getting a GPS lock. When it does finally get a lock (sometimes after minutes of searching), it looses it very quickly. I am at the same location (in my house, outside my house, etc) where I used to lock on to a signal within seconds.

I remember on my Windows Mobile phone (Touch Pro) there was a Quick GPS app that assisted the acquisition of a GPS signal. Is there such a setting for the Hero?

Well, I should have tried this before posting, but I turned the phone off and on again. Now I can get a GPS lock almost immediately. I guess I'll have to start again for an up time record ;-)
