Help Acrobat reader and PDF files

Just purchased Thrive 32gb tablet. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat reader, and then tried to load one of my Construction drawings in PDF format. Drawing appears, however when I attempt to zoom in on area of the drawing the screen goes blank and I get a pop up message. Error Out of Memory.

Can anyone help on this?
