Help Activate Swype Aria

Hello,

I just updated my Aria to Froyo 2.2, and I've been getting all my apps and stuff back, as well as trying Swype, which I haven't had before.

I got the version of HTC Sync that allows sideloading apps, and used it to install Swype.

When I go to the list of installed apps it says its installed. However, when I try to hold down on the text box to select Swype it doesn't give me the option to change to Swype.

Any ideas?

The file you download from Swype's website isn't the keyboard. You need to look in your app drawer for the Swype Installer app and then use that to download the real keyboard.
