I have the DHD. I'd like to place it in a good quality car dock, which charges, and gives an Audio out.
But I don't want to have to take the phone out of it's case every time.
I also have problems with the 3.5mm socket. when I have a standard 3-contact audio cable in there the phone gets confused about whether or not there is a microphone attached - resulting in many callers not being able to hear me as the phone switches off the built in microphone. - this happens with standard headphones and cables to link to home & car stereos.
What I want:
A dock into which I can put my phone in its flip case. (I'll buy a new flip case that works with the holder if I need to)
This should charge the phone and let me connect it to the car stereo.
A mic built into the holder would probably be a good thing to avoid problems mentioned above.
Is this too much to ask???
