Active Exchange Problem

Wasnt sure what forum to put this in, anyways.

I just rooted my HTC One V. Previously I had my school email set up through the stock email client and everything worked fine. Now I can't see anything in my inbox. I am able to send emails through the client just fine, it just wont see any incoming mail, etc.

In the accounts and sync and menu everything is set up fine, but i do have an error saying that sync is currently experiencing problems, etc. It has been this way for 2 days now.

Was this a problem caused by rooting somehow? Any idea how to fix it?

Have you tried deleting the account on your phone and setting it up again?

Sounds like something got mixed up... possibly in the rooting process. I'm on a rooted Nexus 4 and Exchange with the stock email app works fine.
 
Yep, tried that twice, have clear cache as well. I think its weird that Id be able to send an email but not see anything in the inbox or get new emails
