Root Ad Blocking

Anyone have any luck getting ad blocking to work in GB ROMS?

Doesn't seem to work for me at all.

Use Adfree Android from the market... Works for me.

I was hoping ad blocking functionality of the ROM had been fixed but I have no problem using a simple stand alone program like this one.

AdFree (0.6.4) is working fine for me on 2.3.3
