Ad-hoc incompatibility is an OS limitation on Android.
Ad-hoc connection can be created through your iPad or iphone but for that you have to follow some steps to establish the connection and you have to integrate a Wi-Fi card into your pc.You have to open your control panel and in network connection you have to add a preferred network and then go to wireless network properties and name your wireless network and then follow these steps:

2.Select the This is a computer-to-computer (ad hoc) network check box.
3.Create a password and type it in both the Network key and Confirm network key boxes. For the best security, include letters, numbers, and punctuation. Then click OK.
4.Click OK again to save your changes.
