ad-hoc wifi

Hi,

I'm not sure which forum this should go in, but seeing as I have a tattoo I'll put it here.

At work we have a traditional wifi setup and my tattoo connects with no problems to the network. However at home I'm part of an ad-hoc wireless project in my area. The problem is that my phone can't even see the ad-hoc network. Is there anything I can do to get this to work?

I saw this thread when googling and I'm not sure if it's even possible to connect to an ad-hoc network:

Any ideas?

afaik the ad-hoc mode is different to the "standard" mode, where you connect to an access point.

So it is not possible unless it is added in next firmware release.
