adb for chanign permissions

Can the Adb command be used to remove a perission on application that will not allow the removal or denial of a permission on a non rooted phone?

what phone do you have? on my note 10+ i can allow or deny permissions on system apps. why do you want to delete or remove permissions? what exactly are you trying to do?

That's interesting, because my Note20 Ultra, it can't set allow or deny permissions for system apps. Those settings are all greyed out on my device.

yes, sorry, i only tried it on things like phone, accessibility and few samsung apps. i did not look at some of the other deeply integrated system apps like webview.....in which you are correct, i could not change permissions for webview. it is greyed out.

so yes it will depend on what system app you are trying to change permissions to.

I think you will find on a Samsung phone that some apps like camera, AR emoji and find files have telephone permissions that cannot be removed. I have a A50
