Ooook. First off, hello dear Android forums!!! I can't tell you how many times I've googled and used something I found on here to fix my old as crap phone (that I love so dearly!). I've finally come across an issue that I'm not exactly sure how to find the solution to, seeing as I don't know what I did...
I will say this. I'm a complete newbie to everything root. Literally just found out what it was less than 24 hours ago, as I needed to get rid of bloatware on my phone. Successfully got her rooted, did Titanium Backup stuff and tapped the wrong thing!! It deleted the entire android market from my phone!
Main problem? I did a factory reset, thinking it'd fix it, but it didn't because I'm a root user and completely deleted it from my phone (still not sure wtf I deleted...
) Anyhow, now my titanium backup is gone, my Terminal Emulator is gone and my dang market is gone so I can't reinstall them! Infinite loop of failer, I tell you what!
Oh, and you guys will just LOVE this! I DIDN'T BACK ANYTHING UP! HAHA!
If ANYONE can tell me what the crud I can type into... adb? Is that what it's called? The black box I can open on my computer to make my phone do stuff... yeah, you know what I'm talking about... What can I download/install/type into that thing to make it all better? Is there an easy bandaid??
Or, could a completely new ROM fix this?? (still not entirely sure what a ROM is either) If so, how to install ROM, please?
I feel so stupid. I just really really love this granny of an android and I'm too poor to buy a new android (I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO APPLE!!!).
If ANYONE can help me, I promise I will literally bake some cookies and send them to you! Homemade, your choice!
