Add app to "open with" list

I looked for an answer to this question and after doing a forum and Google search, all I found was a post I made over two years ago asking the same basic question! LOL

Although I'm not asking about a video file now. I just want to add a program (isilo) to the default "open with" list so that when I tap on a file (pdb) it will open in the app, once I set it as the default. That way I can create a shortcut for just one file on my desktop and then tap it when I want to open it. I hope this make sense!

I'm looking for some way to associate certain files with their corresponding apps.

Can't be done. The app should have the association with the file. Simply installing an app that opens a particular file should add it to the open list. If it does not, report it to the developer
