Help Add contacts

[Android Question]

I need to add roughly 400 contacts to a phone. If I do each one individually it'll take forever and be awful. I do have the contacts in an excel spreadsheet, and want to know if there's some file I can create that I can send to the phone and add them all that way, and how to do so.

.csv file?

The phone in question is a Galaxy 6 running Android 5.1.1.

I'm at a loss, so all help is much appreciated.

Hi

See here https://support.google.com/mail/answer/12119?hl=en

I would test it with say 2 lines/contacts before doing the big import!
