Look for an app called "People". If its not on your homescreen you can find it in the app drawer. Click on "People", At the bottom there is a symbol that looks like a cartoon head and shoulders with a + sign. Click on that to create a new contact. Fill in the fields and when you are finished click "done" in the upper left hand corner. You can also add contacts from a received call or text message. In your call log, click on the received call and on the window that appear you will see the option to add to contacts. You can then choose to 'create new contact' at the bottom of the next page. In the messaging app, you can either tap on the little head & shoulders icon next to their number in the messaging app and you will be given the option to add to contacts, or if you open a thread within messaging and press the 3 dots in the upper right, you will get the option to add to people.
