Help adding copilot maps were to put?

It seems that my app/program is OK but when Copilot opens it says no maps loaded.
my rig:
Disco10/androide version 2.2-pilot /kernel version2.6.32.9 zjdatdtlinuxserver#34/ build number FRF85b
copilot 8.2.0.218
I have a 16gig sd card internal
if I click on the icon "MY PAD"I have 2 menu bars ,,, says,,, local/SD1.
I am assuming "LOCAL" is my root directory, or primary SD card, ?
I have a folder here

I have a folder here “COPILOT”, as instructed I have put a Map folder,, COPILOT\North America.
Aslo I have tried Copilot\Maps\North America.
When I open the app copilot it say no maps loaded? If I goto add map or change map nothing is avalible.
DO I need to unpack the North America folder into the Copiolt\Maps, or am I not in my primary “SD” card?
I am new I just do not want to make a mess
Thank you

The correct location for the maps for CoPilot Live is ..copilot\na\north america\

So whereever you find the programs executables you need to make a folder \copilot\na\north america\ and place the map files in that folder.

IIRC my version is 8.0.x.x and if yours doesn't see the maps after placing then in the correct file structure you might want to try the older version.....

this seems to work it does show a map now and does locate me. I am in the countryside with only 1 road so it is hard to tell. I am moving to the, that is why I city bought it. I gues now I have to wait and see, but good progress today thank you.
