Help Adding Folder to Applications Screen

I am able to add a folder to the "Home" screen but when I go into Applications and hit "Menu" and Add Folder, I just get a grey box pop up with a cross in top left corner. I also get the same when I hit the Add Page option.

I was hoping to be able to tidy up my applications a little by grouping them in folders.

you need to long press on add folder, then drag it into the view above.

You need to drag apps into the folder you've created and once done drag the folder out onto the apps page.

I can create a folder on the home screen, but please how do i move apps into the folder!

Long press the app icon, then drag it onto the folder icon.

Thanks, but the icons still remain on the applications screen. I thought i could decongest it.

Create the folder in the app drawer, then drag the whole folder to the homescreen?
