Adding Swype on Droid Pro

While I intend to use the physical keyboard primarily, it would be nice to have the option of using Swype to touch type when you're limited to 1 finger input (hands are full, eating, etc.). By default Droid Pro doesn't have Swype installed, but it seems that adding it is easy, as shown in this vid - How To Add Swype to your Android phone | Droid free apps and news

Has anyone actually tried it yet?

Does the DP even have a virtual keyboard in portrait? Or do you mean in landscape? I can't imagine that swyping with my right hand stretched over the sideways keyboard would be that great.

I was thinking of being able to swype while not holding the phone.

Ah, forgot about that. For me, if I'm not holding the phone it's because I'm in the car, so I just use Vlingo for all voice actions. Works very well.
