Adding/Syncing Google Calendar

Hello,

When I try to sync my calendar with google calendar I get a message thats says there is no calendar events currently synced. So I go to settings-accounts-Gmail- and it only gives me the option to sync contacts and gmail, not the calendar. How do I add in the calendar so that I can sync it? I only have the one Gmail account.

My friend thinks I may have to remove the gmail account then add it back in, but doing so means I would have to restore factory settings and everything would be deleted.

I would hate to have to restore the factory settings. Any advise?

Try this.

Go into the stock calendar (even if you are using a different calendar).

Go into settings (menu button) -> more -> Calendars

Check if theres something in there you can (and want to) add to syncing.

Tried the stock Motorola Calendar Widget and it gives me basically the same options. When I open the calendar it wants me to pick an account. I click gmail and it only has the contact and gmail options to sync. If i click options it only gives me the sync option.
