Help address book sync

I just purchased an ASUS Slider tablet for my wife to use. She uses it mainly for email. The problem is that whenever she starts to enter an address for a new email, she gets suggestions from MY gmail address book. She is using her att.net email account. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix this so that her own address book appears?
I think the problem stems from the fact that I had to set up a gmail account for her in order for her to get email sent to the tablet and that somehow a synchronization caused this.

there should be an option on what contacts to sync, also what contacts to display. I dont have my tab with me today but look around
