Adjust app. size

[Android Question]

I recently bought an LG G2 from T Mobile. When I got it, The music app was large and I could control it from the main screen (did not need to touch the square to open it) My friend deleted the app from home page and now it is just a small square that I have to launch to use it. How do I get it back to how It was originally?
