I have an optimus s that came oout of the box with android 2.2.2 when I tried to goto a web site it said I need adobe flash player. from what i read on this site it should be installed. But even if I am wrong I cant download it from the market. Can anyone help?

Sorry, LG Optimus S doesn't fulfill the minimum requirements of running Flash. The phone's processor is too weak.

To some degree it might be possible by using Skyfire web browser.
