ADS in my notification bar

Q4. Is there any way to totally rid your phone of the ads in the notification bar?

I get random ads all the time and im not sure why im getting them.

I also installed the fireplace screensaver when i first got my phone, i no longer use this, and i thought i deleted it, but it is still showing up in my live wallpapers, does anyone know how to totally delete this app from my phone?

You have an app (or more than one app) that uses "push advertising". Install an app called Addons Detector and use it to scan for apps with push notifications. Uninstall all apps using that feature and the ads will stop.

I've not had live wallpaper support on my phone for a long time (it's a feature I remove from ROMs before flashing) so don't remember this very well. Does it not show up in the "manage applications" menu or the list of installed apps in the Play Store?

that's not settle the problem. we don't want to uninstall the apps. we just want to remove the ads. i've try using lucky patcher but most doesn't work. any trick?

If you get Jelly Bean on your phone, you can disable the app's ability for push notifications (Settings/Apps/...the culprit app).

Without JB you'd try the app 'Notification History' from Play Store. The app promises the same disability feature.
