Help ads in the notification area?

I've started getting a little green plus sign show up in the notification area down on the bottom right of the screen next to the clock. When I open the notifications the green plus is an ad....Does anyone know where this is coming from or how I can figure out where it's coming from?

It is from an app you downloaded. There are other apps that will figure out which app is causing it our you can just look for the incredibly bad reviews for the apps you have.

The lesson to learn is to read the reviews before downloading.

What app is the preferred one to track down the ad pushes?

Try Adons Detector or Lookout Ad Network Detector.

Thanks. Also I found that AirPush Detector and Addons Detector was the other ones someone recommended.
