Ads on homecreen

For about a month now I have had these ads on my homescreen popping up. I've tried to use apps for viruses and none of them have worked.

Its not a virus. Its one of your apps placing ads. What app did you install when it started happening?

It might have been an app called stress baal but I uninstalled it.

Try going into the Google account settings and opt out of the interest-based ads.

No that won't get rid of ads. That just makes the ads you get, more random. Interest based makes sure the ads you get are things you like.
