Hi,

I got this tablet last week, however I'm having an Issue with Sky Go... I am getting an error message stating that "Sky Go is not supported on rooted android devices"...

I installed "Universal Unroot" app, and confirmed with the "Root Checker" app that I now have no access to Root and no SU.

However Sky Go still identifies it as being rooted. any ideas? I'm not sure it's because the tablet does have Developer Options available.

Please help!

Sky Go and a host of others are not fooled by turning off su access.

Basically they see the modified device as a potential to violate DRM (copy protection).

That's total hogwash and a gross confusion on their part between Android and iOS, where jailbreaking an iPhone is the darling gateway to theft.

Sorry, but that's what you're up against.

Maybe someone else will know some workaround that I don't. The common ones we used a few years ago no longer work.
