alright guys i have here a 10.1 tab 2 that wont turn on or boot.
i bought two tabs off of craigslist knowing they were broken.
the other is a 2 7" that had water damage and i repaired the board and replaced the dock connector and battery and got it to work(long story short).
this one has a new dock flex cable and battery, i got it with a screw in the middle of the dock connector cable.
unit wont power on at all, nothing on the screen ever. voltage is 3.75 at the connector on the board and still nothing. i dont see any water damage or damage at all to the unit or board at all, in fact looks new!
i guess im asking for advice on what to do next, ive let the battery drain completely on the old battery, the new one gets voltage when 5.0 v is plugged in and battery holds a charge.
is there anything i can do otherwise? i realize it is a long shot but figured id give it a try. Its a nice challenge!
