Advanced Task Killer App!

I know this sounds dumb but, I pulled the battery on my Evo just to clear things out for a few, when I rebooted I see the ATK symbol in my notification bar. I uninstalled this app at least a week ago. I checked in the market place to see if I have it downloaded and I don't. WEIRD! Any thoughts.

Another good reason why never to install one of those things. Hard reset maybe?

I have not tried uninstalling it..Dont plan it. It works for me!

Use it in safe mode with cleaning on screen shut off. Works as it should without killing needed apps which saves battery.

Linux programs appearing in a list, do not mean they are running since they most likely are in standby not using any battery life. Notice this when comparing ATK & Android Mate's running programs after a friend who is a Linux dev told me about this and setup my ATK.

If you believe killing background apps that aren't actually using CPU saves battery, then go for it.
