Advanced Task killer - how to add an application to ignore list?

How do you add aps to the ignore list so they don't even show up on apps to kill? I suspect that feature is for autokill.. but I'm talking about manually killing aps and not wanting select aps to even show up there.

You're not even supposed to be using ANY third party task killer in the first place. Those are for phones using Android 2.0 and below. On higher versions, they do more harm than good because it contradicts with Android's internal task management functions.

in order to actually ANSWER THE QUESTION

when your in the main screen showing all the apps with the checkmarks. Just long press which app u want to add then hit "ignore."

I don't have it set to automatically kill anything, but I could swear when the phone feels lagy, that it helps to kill all aps. Can somebody confirm what you just said cause I personally would rather not have it.

Thanks.

What apps does my phone (galaxy s 2 lte)
require to run smoothly
for example how can i ensure that email is pushed to my phone?
I have a beweather widget, which *should*(?) stay open to ensure my data is up to date???
what about text messages and that sort of thing

I disagree, when I open up task killer and it shows that the gallery is open
when I haven't viewed any pictures, why should I leave it running??

Also I have a dictionary.com widget for word of the day.
Why should this app stay open? once its updated for the day whats the point of keeping it open unless its getting steady use?

Because Android is not Windows. Android is mounted on Linux, which has a different memory management system.

Free RAM in Android = waste

Most of what you see loaded up is frozen and using 0% CPU, therefore won't affect the battery.

Gallery is a background service app. The camera, Facebook, Email, etc all connect to Gallery. Killing the gallery would make the phone think you used it. After a couple of minutes, it will load Gallery again in the memory, especially when your email activates sync so it will send instructions to the gallery again. Then you kill it again. Then this goes into a vicious cycle which will not only waste your battery (kill and startup processes).

Basically, let Android run what it wants to run, and it will close what it will need to close, and remove the task killer.
