I'm seriously considering switching from my Evo 4g to the Epic 4g Touch. As much as I absolutely love my Evo and am a die hard fan I think I'm due for a tiny bit of a change and the Epic Touch seems to be a very close runner up if not just a teeny bit better. Any yays or nays? Pros, cons? I haven't really found any major issues with the Epic Touch. Help me guys.

I have a E4G and the wife has a E4GT. We held off buying the E4GT for a while because of the reported radio issues, but the $79 Amazon price pushed us over the edge. So far, my wife's experience has been nothing short of positive. The phone is fast and bright. It really makes my E4G look tired and old. I still find sense (especially the modified type found in Mike G's roms) to be vastly superior to Touch Wiz, but it doesn't come near to making up for the hardware advantages. Battery life in particular is a massive improvement over the E4G, better than 2 to 1.

Pastafarian, buy it! I bought it in September but returned it due to slow data connection speeds and poor signal. Looks like the 2.3.6 fixed those issues because I just bought it again 3 days ago. I'm in love again!

To Weinstein: A couple of questions, if you don't mind. First, how do I find out which version is on my SGS2 Epic 4G Touch? I just switched from a Sprint LG Optimus and although I love this SGS2 phone, I'm getting little to no signal. How could my simple LG pull in a better signal than this fancy-dancy phone? Also I rarely see 3G working, so I'm unable to download things unless I turn on Wireless.

If you can't answer, I'll post this to the general board. Thanks ...
