Advice Please

Hi all i am looking for some advise please. I am looking at getting the s3 mini to replace my HTC Desire s when my contract is up. Is the mini up to much. Things like the processor. I know its not as big a processor but is it ok for the phone. Any comments about the phone in general would be appreciated. Many thanks Andy
