Some of you may have heard or read but ADW Launcher is back!!
It's pretty sweet so far.
I'll keep you updated
I gave up on ADW, used to live by it, now I am happy with Apex Launcher.
I've been running the beta for a day now, and the only drawback (for me at least) is the lack of the "AnyCut" type of custom shortcut feature found in Adw EX.

You have to download that version then join the beta which is done by scrolling down through the app page in the plastered after you download the old version.

I'll give ADW a look at.
I was having fun with the custom widget tool and transition options. Unfortunately I am a little frustrated, seems buggy still. I know its beta, but my home screen being redrawn or kicking me to the launcher selection everytime I hit the home button... Tried "keep in memory" didn't help. I've always had bad luck with custom launchers though. Might be a TouchWiz thing

I have the same problems. I use Nova as my daily driver and play around with made in the evenings. Make sure you report any bugs you find and any suggestions as well to the developer.I was having fun with the custom widget tool and transition options. Hopefully we will see some improvements with the redraws and lag in the next update or 2.
I had the same issue with Nova at first, but they seem to have ironed that out.

After nine years at Google Android Platform and buying the Pro Key or Prime versions of Launchers like Nova, Apex, ADW EX, TSF, Holo, Smart Pro 3, Next, Action 3, Go, Lighting, Lollipop and some others that disappears at Google Play Store such as SPB Shell 3D a expensive one that was abandoned by the developer. ADW EX was last updated on July 27, 2013. So I was reading a few days ago at Android Authority about this kind of new beta version of ADW last updated on June 26, 2016 and I went for it and paid $3.99 for the Premium unlock. I like this ADW beta version, it's my current launcher.

Ha, ha I believe you. Everyone can customize their favorite launcher. ADW last version Beta is a great launcher no matter what background color you use on it.

I love the idea of the extension pack and ability to customize your own widgets. Did wish I could remove the google search from top completely. Do not use it. Would rather have that extra screen space in launcher freed up. Outside of that this looks to be a great start to the new ADW.
