Help After factory or hard reset, are updates current or not?

Just did a factory hard reset due to problems. Do I need to redo the several updates since March 1th or is it current? When I checked Settings/System updates it said:
Your SAMSUNG SM-G935V is up to date. No update is necessary at this time.

Factory reset means that the mobile deletes all apps, settings and return them to original. Updates installed remain.

OS updates remain. App updates (user apps that you downloaded) are wiped out.

System apps (like Chrome), and any bloat apps that the carrier+Samsung baked into your system partition will remain.

Whatever updates you applied remain intact, hard reset only wipes out user data.
