Help After factory reset, note 2 stuck on Samsung logo splash screen

So I had several problems trying to root the Note II and gave up because the guides weren't helping me. I started to experience some other problems like trying to access Google maps or some other random apps that are already pre-installed on my phone. When I try to access these apps, an message would pop up saying...

"Unfortunately, This App has stopped"

Under my notifications, "Security Notice: An attempt to access a secure area on your phone without authorization has been blocked.

After performing a factory reset under settings>account>backup, the phone would get stuck on the Samsung logo splash screen. I then have to remove the battery, hold the volume up button, home screen, and the power button and manually do a hard reset. After that, the phone doesn't get stuck on the samsung logo splash screen anymore but but there are more problems. The phone will be restored but I'll get these notifications saying

"SuperSU has stopped"
"Youtube has stopped"
"Google maps has stopped"

I don't even know what I just did to the phone... I think that the phone is completely bricked or something.. Every time I tried to factory reset or hard reset, SuperSU never disappears. I can't remove the app from the phone either.. I know that my phone isn't rooted because I used Root checker and it confirmed that the phone had no root access.

As of right now, the apps I can't access are Youtube, Google Maps, and SuperSU. And the stupid Security Notice saying "Unauthorized access to a secured area on your phone without authorization has been blocked" keeps appearing on my phone whenever I try to access the apps that won't let me. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I just want to restore my phone back to its original, no root or anything, just like if you just bought a brand new note II..

I'm currently on Android 4.3 using a Sprint Note II

How did you try to root it? Have you tried opening supersu to see what message you get from it? It will either tell you that the binarys can not be updated or it may ask you to update them. If it asks you to update. Then root will work. If not. You should be able to go to application manger and uninstall. Depending on what happens...there are a couple things you can do. Come back and tell us.

If rooted we should move this to the root section, what provider are you with.

Even though you did a factory reset, you might need to install a recovery file, getting you to the right root subforum will help you best. Even if you tired to root and was not successful, but then tried to FR, then you might of still rooted without finishing the recovery process. So let us know what carrier and the root champs will guide you best and either finish your root process, or get you back to stock with no issue. You might of also tipped Knox. ;)

Hi

I spent hours and hours figuring out the problem ( trial and error) and came across a stock rom of Android OS 4.3 sprint. I loaded up Odin, PDA the Stock rom, and then bam. It was back to normal and everything to fixed. I also figured out why I was unable to get root access and it was because SuperSU needed to be updated (install SuperSU @ Google Play Store).

Thanks mod,

The last thing I need to do is to add a custom rom. Please transfer me to the right sub-forum to get help on how to install custom rom to my phone. I downloaded, installed philz as well. I can't seem to "remove philz " though but its a good recovery that I can deal with it.

SuperSu was there all the time. Thats standard. Updating the binarys would have done it. But, you know that now. Nice work guys..
