Help After latest update - Searching using GPS..

Have a Samsung S3 on BoostMobile and a few weeks ago there was an Android OS update. After that update I noticed the phone constantly does "Searching Using GPS" then goes away, then comes back, goes away, all day long, especially if wifi is off. It didn't do this before the update. Is there a known fix or update available to fix it?

Do you have GPS turned on at the time? Do you know what exactly the update changed?

I don't know what the update changed - it was an OS update for Android. "Location" is On.

Turned of the "connection optimizer" and doesn't seem to be doing it any more.

As crazy as it might seem, try this.

You also might check to make sure that GPS isn't turned on, even with location on.
