When you rooted your phone, the root process probably purposely took that out so that you don't accept an update that removes root and could possibly prevent you from rooting your device until the dev community finds another way of rooting.
I did unroot the android. The program i used had that option, but now i am on stock unrooted firmware and it is still gone. Also when i go to time and date settings the "com.android.settings" crashes on me. So i am stuck with military time.
