Help Airplane mode at night?

I think I've read that 4.3 disabled this ability but I'll ask the experts here.

Any way to automatically turn on Airplane mode at night?

Tasker should be able to do this.

MacroDroid can take care of that, see my Signature.
MacroDroid does not require you to know programming, Tasker does.

Turning Data and WiFi OFF is the same as Airplane Mode.
Using my technique, my S5 goes 2 and 3 days between charges.

Seems you need root to turn off data. I'm not rooted.

ummmm, no.... I have never owned a rooted phone.

and I have been able to turn off DATA and WiFi on all of my smartphones since the first one, a Galaxy S.

Pull down the notification panel, click on DATA and WiFi, when those icons are dark, the radios are OFF.

for me, I let MacroDroid do it for me.

Not working here. One time trigger, one action to toggle data and one constraint of day, although the last one shouldn't be needed. When the time passes nothing happens. As well, when u chose data it says requires root. Seems like a simple tool but it's not working here.

Just researched for an hour.. Lollipop eliminates the ability of apps to manipulate the data connection. Are you running Lollipop?
