Airplane mode Scheduler

Looking for an App that will put my ph (Galaxy Nexus) in Airplane mode at nite and then wake up in the am.

I tried Auto Airplane mode and one other - but niether works.

I found a BlueTooth scheduler that actually works, too bad that developer (Frank Luo) does not make one for Airplane mode.

If there is an App that would set schedules for Airplane Mode & Bluetooth, then that would be great too.

Thanks, but does not seem it handles Airplane Mode.

I use Llama to do exactly what you're wanting on my Nexus 7 tablet. Works great and is a bit easier to understand than Tasker.

At first I thought Llama was it, but there are too many settings and so far can't get it to work. A little more reading - phone needs to be rooted for Llama to function.
Back to square one.

Why do you say that. I use Tasker to put my phone in and out of airplane mode (Samsung Infuse ruining 2.3.6).

Tasker may be a little overkill for one specific need because there is some learning curve, but a powerful tool for your phone

I did not see airplane mode when looking a the photos on the developers pg. maybe i missed it on my small screen. I have tried 5 different apps and so far not one has worked. Even at $2.99 would rather test it first before buying.

I don't think they were trying to show you all the actions. Here is a list of actions that can be done with Tasker. I post it to show you it's a pretty long list of actions.

Installed then requested refund.

I first went to the example link.
seemed simple enough so installed the app.

As I went thru the steps, the instructions did not match screens on my phone.
Finally figured out how to add an Action, when to add Airplane mode - msg popped up "Airplane mode not available in Android 2.2 plus, try secure settings plug in and root phone."

I have 4.2.2 and its not rooted.

So requested a refund.

The apps that I did find that had a VERY EASY set up all no updates within the last 6 months -
so no surprise when I installed those that I could not get them to work.

oh well. Guess I'll live with just manually settting Airplane mode each nite.

I did not forsee that someone with a newer phone can't do what my old phone does.

It must be one of those 2 steps forward 1 step backward software upgrades.

Well it's not the end of the world, but I am surprised of all the apps available, that I can't find on that works.

Will try again in a few months.
