Airplane Mode

Hi, quick question.

If I put my phone on airplane mode, will it notify me of missed texts or calls after I turn airplane mode off? Thanks.

You will most likely get your texts, although its up to your carrier to deliver them, and it could take some time to get back to your phone. Phone calls you will not get any notifications, as the caller will just go to voicemail. If they leave a voicemail, you will get that notification shortly after turning airplane mode off.

Yes, it's interesting how, sometimes, the messages will start to slowly trickle in a few minutes after disabling 'plane mode.

At first it fooled me; it did not happen right away, so I thought I had none. About three or four minutes later they came all at once. *ding* *ding* *ding* *ding* *ding*

And sometimes the text messages will time out. Of course that requires leaving the phone in Airplane mode for days... don't ask me how I know!
