Help Airplay on Android?

Hi all, I have just migrated from iPhone to Samsung S5. How do I watch Web videos from browsers such as Google Chrome on my apple tv 2 (I have xbmc installed)? On apple iPhone you can tap airplay icon to stream content easily. I have tried samsung quick connect and also Allcast app on my new phone. Both work with local content stored on the device but I can't seem to get to work with content on the web? I really hope there is a workaround as this feature seems so basic. Any ideas?

Thanks for the Link jmatteis. Unfortunately that link does not answer the question but rather confirms my worst suspicion... That you can only Airplay local content stored on Android phones to ATV. Please can someone tell me how to AirPlay web based content e.g. listening to music on Pandora or Spotify and then AirPlay to Apple TV? or Watching content on Youtube and then AirPlay to ATV? Is this really not possible on Android?

Pretty much not.

This opens just a few sources -

Check out "Streambels AirPlay Chrome DLNA"

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuxera.streambels

But outside of DLNA, Apple tends to use private protocols for some of their stuff, so interoperability with their products is sometimes a challenge.

What you want to do isn't difficult with a $35 Chromecast but it doesn't do true screen mirroring yet like the $100 Apple TV.

You're caught between vendor specific protocols right now.

Sorry but there it is.

Welcome to the forums! :)
