Help airpush on homescreen

Adverts keep poping up on my homescreen. I've deleted every app since it started and contacted airpush about this problem. They say my phone is on there blacklist so i shouldnt get it anymore and it might not be them sending the ads.
If i click on the ad, i get sent to the internet and airpush comes up in the url. I then instantly get taken to the advertisers page, usually vodafone.
The ads come up on any app, including built in apps like photos and file manager. They cover the space button on the keyboard so if im typing and it pops up, i click it.
Ive tried most of the airpush blocker apps.
Help! Please help!

I know that you mentioned you've installed airpush detector apps, but I've heard good things about this app:

This one doesn't remove the popups or ads but supposedly helps identify which apps may be the culprit.

Nope. It looked good a first but it gave 2 apps that pushed ads. I uninstalled both and im still gettong the ads. Thanks for the help anyway.

I think ive fixed it. Appdroid updated a while ago, so i deleted it and the ads have stopped for now.

I looked at Appdroid in the Play Store. The description isn't in english but it looks like a hub for other apps (sort of like Zedge is to wallpapers/sounds/etc.). Anyways -- looks like you figured it out!

Yeah, its another version of the play store. Except the one had was from the internet not the play store. The two are slightly different and from the look of it mine was better. It had an update about a week ago so it must have been that.
