In an attempt to get hardware developers to try out the Google Assistant SDK and tinker with Android Things, Google has just announced the AIY Projects initiative. The first reference project available is the Voice Kit and it includes instructions to build a Voice User Interface (VUI) that can use cloud services or run completely on the device.
