OK folks... I have lurked here and learned A LOT about root, and making the phone WAAAY better than I ever thought I would. I have since rooted, loaded Apex 1.4 and Watermark'D it but I just have a few quick things I would love to get some help on changing if I can.
I first started on the Android platform with a SF and the one thing I loved about the phone was that when I set an alarm it would alert on both the external speaker and in headphones if they were plugged in. I have since given that phone to my wife and inherited my step fathers DX because he wanted to go to a PRO.
The problem is this; I listen to music at night to go to bed and I have been having issues getting up because the ear buds fall out over night (obviously) and all I barely hear is the vibrate the DX makes in the alarms. Is there a setting I am missing or a program that will allow the alarms to sound on the external speaker?? I would REALLY appreciate that.
Next little issue since I am using Watermark'D (which I love and is so aesthetically pleasing) when I am using Swype, the trail is so light it is hard to see where I came from. Is there a way to darken the trail and or can someone suggest a keyboard that I can use with Swype that can do this?
