I've been using an alarm widget on my Galaxy S3 forever, and never had trouble with it. When the alarm goes off, it puts a circle on the screen that can be swiped to snooze or turn off the alarm. Just in the last few days, when the alarm goes off, the touchscreen is unresponsive, meaning I can't turn the alarm off. This is highly irritating, I have a roommate who counts on me turning it off quickly. I can use the side button to open the "power off / reset" panel, but still can't use the touchscreen to reset the device, so that doesn't work.
I have noticed that it does seem to function if the screen is already unlocked when the alarm starts, but not if the screen was locked, so I don't know if that helps.
I have the latest Android update, I dunno if this is a new bug or what.
Thanks
