No, this is not possible.
However, it will work in airplane mode. Airplane mode will keep you from getting calls, messages, etc. Not sure if that's why you want to have your phone off.

On my nokia n97 ,I set the alarm ,turn off the phone to save the battery when the alarm starts it gives you the option to turn the phone on at the same time.

That's a pretty nice feature for the alarm to stay on when the phone is off.
I've never had a phone that does this.

But having your phone in airplane mode is the next best thing to having the phone off. It uses virtually no battery.

Really? Most old phones do that. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, etc. It's only the newest smart phones that do not do this anymore.
