I have a samsung galaxy express phone and the alarm clock will not work if the phone is turned off. How can i save my battery and still use my alarm clock on the phone ?

If the phone is completely off it cannot work - its like taking the battery out. Most people put screen, data and wifi off when the phone is not in use but do not "power off" the phone. In a sleep mode like this the alarm should work and the battery should last quite well.
