Help Alarm problem - LG G4

Hey everyone, I've got a problem on my phone where an alarm has been set for 9am and I can't turn it off? I never set the alarm and going into my alarm app (standard clock app) shows no alarm set. In fact I've never even set an alarm for 9am since having the phone. My Calender is clear also. Any ideas?

So 9am passed and the alarm didn't go off and now I'm stuck with it on my screen like the above screenshot. Any ideas what could be wrong?

5 days later and I still can't get rid of the alarm. It's not going off daily thankfully but I would still like to be rid of it :(

Hi, you could try wiping the system cache :-
The system cache partition stores temporary files. After some period of time, some files can become corrupted, files can pile up, so you need to clear that clutter. You will do that by wiping cache partition. It is a simple thing to do, but as soon as you do it, you will notice that your device works better. Let's see how to do that.

How to wipe cache partition on LG G4

To wipe cache partition, just follow these few simple steps:

First, tap on Apps from the Home screen
Next, tap Settings and then click on General section
Tap Storage (the option is located under Phone Management section)
Tap Cached data
Click OK

This is how simple wiping cached data on LG G4 is. If you have problems with apps or if your device is running slower than usual, just follow this guide to wipe cache partition.

It is advisable to do this not only when you have issues with your smart phone. This is something you can do every once in a while and as you can see it does not require too much time or effort.

It has cleared various weird glitches on my HTC devices over the last two or three years.

Thanks for the help guys. Cleared the cache but the alarm remains :(

Here's a screenshot of my alarm page. As you can see no alarms are set yet the alarm icon is active at the top of the screen. I just don't understand why it's there when I've never set an alarm for 9am since having the phone and I don't use my calender.

Assuming your clock app is similar to the one on my HTC device, ie. pre-installed, it may be worth uninstalling updates and perhaps even going back to factory version then re-updating.

If that doesn't resolve it I guess all that remains would be a full Factory Reset, but it does seem a rather drastic step, although I fully understand you wanting to be rid of the blessed thing. It would annoy the hell out of me ;).

All the 'uninstall' options are greyed out for the clock sadly. Looks like I'll just have to live with it, I've cleared/deleted anything I can find related to the clock and still no joy. Thankfully the alarm isn't going off every Monday at 9am but the fact it isn't makes it all the stranger!
