Help Alarm/Snooze and Speaker Issues After Gingerbread Update

I've had two weird issues, along with a few other small things going wrong, after the Gingerbread update, which for me, happened last week.

A note: I'm not sure the problems are actually linked, but they occur during the same process.

1. When using the multimedia dock to charge my phone overnight, the alarm comes on as usual, but when I hit the snooze, the screen stays on. Before the update, it would go back to a nice dark (off?) state. Since it is now dark in the morning, it is now a minor inconvenience to have to turn the screen back off after hitting snooze.

2. I use the Relax & Sleep app at night. After hitting the snooze a few times, a horrible static noise is added to the Relax & Sleep sounds. The first few times I hit snooze, all is fine, but eventually, it turns into a horrible noise. Maybe this is a new "Hey idiot, get out of bed!!" feature. :p

I've rebooted and checked all the settings I could find. Not rooted. Have never rebuilt from factor reset, and really don't have time to try that right now. I decreased the number of widgets I've got. Use Go Launcher. I've made sure all apps are up-to-date. Any ideas??
