Alarm sound suddenly shifting to zero

CharlesLewis

Twice this week, I've missed an alarm because the sound had suddenly shifted to zero. I have not gone into settings to make this change and can't think of any action I might have taken that might have caused it. This is obviously a serious problem.

I have a Moto Z4 running Android 10.

Can anyone suggest what's causing this?

It sounds like you've enabled do not disturb accidentally. Do you have it set to enable automatically for any reason? Like pairing with a vehicle or flipping your phone face down?

It only comes in when I manually turn it on.

Attached is the screenshot of my settings (hopefully attached.)

well if the do not disturb feature is not randomly turning on then it is not it the issue. have you tried rebooting the phone?
Yes. I've learned that solves many issues, just not this one.

I must have accidentally lowered the alarm volume but I can't figure out how, especially since it happened twice in one week (and never before).
