alarm

[nieltab]

Hi,

My stock alarm on my samsung galaxy s advance running android 4.1.2 sometimes stops after 1 second.

First I was thinking that they didn't go off at all, but now I noticed a couple of times that it begins, but stops right away.

What could cause this problem? I use the same settings in all the alarms, but still it can work some day and stop working another day.

Thanks

That's weird. I have never had that happen. Now I am curious.

Yeah its really annoying, because I can't trust my alarm anymore.

Try switching the sound file you use for the alarm tone. It may be a corrupted file.

I had problems with my stock alarm. I now use AlarmDroid. Give that a whirl.

Yea maybe I could try another alarm app, but still I would prefer a working stock alarm :/

I tested it today, I had set an alarm with my digital clock right before my smartphone alarm would go off. And indeed it gives the first half second of the alarm sound and then stops.
