I just released version 1.1 of Alarmania.
You can use it on your night stand - it will display the current time while charging (optional)
It supports several themes (currently there are only two, but more will arrive soon)
It has a proper implemented energy management - so it will only consume energy when it absolutely needs to (no separate background process running - it uses the AlarmManager feature provided by the android OS)
And the best of all:
